External camera cases - The essential guide
Whilst most time-lapse cameras have either inclusive or specific cases to protect them from damage and the weather, they are usually limited in their flexibility. In many cases, not entirely weatherproof, if at all. Or they don't allow for additional/power supplies or security precautions. The good news is that we offer two custom options to protect your investment and ensure your surveys are unaffected.
Eugento Universal Case
This specially designed case accepts a wide range of cameras including the Brinno TLC123, 130, 200, 200 Pro, 2000 and 2020. The Afidus ATL200, 201, 201S and 230, The Atli Eon and the fully GoPro range. And many other cameras of similar size you may be using. It is constructed from high impact plastic and powder coated mild steel and is incredibly easy to install and use.
Features
Adjustable camera platform
The simple right angle camera fixing plate has a single tripod screw slot and comes with two keyhole fitting studs for greater stability. Installation is very easy to do as the fitted camera platform just drops into any two of the predrilled keyhole slots in the internal backplate.
Wide viewing window
The viewing window is constructed from optical grade clear plastic and is over 150mm wide. This make it easy to mount a wide range of cameras behind it without the usual ‘port-holing’ effect seen with conventional circular windows. As the front window is removable, it can easily be replaced if it gets scratched, broken or damaged.
Easy access cover with locking sunshield
The sunshield is top-hinged and also acts as a locking mechanism for the front access cover. Simply raise the sunshield to open the access cover. The access cover lower hinge then allows the covers to be stowed at 90 degrees to the case which acts as a great storage area during installation.
Optional plastic tie bars
The case is supplied with multiple tripod or camera bracket threaded inserts which are usually used to mount it. However, in situations where the risk of damage to lampposts etc is high, we can supply two plastic tie bars which are mounted to allow the use of banding or strapping.
Space for company branding
The front window has space for your own company branding or warning labels if required.
Lockable cover
The front window and backplate are fitted with two padlock hasps which fully protect the enclosure as well as offering a visible deterrent.
Integral battery holder
The Universal case has a recessed slot for the Routesafe 10Watt battery (requires right angle USB A connector) which also offers a secure fixing point and easy access to allow quick battery replacement.
Powder coated mild steel backplate.
The 3mm mild steel backplate adds protection and installation ruggedness to the case design.

Nunuk Rugged Case
Based on the rugged Nanuk 904 case the Eugento camera case offers a strong enclosure for most applications. The case includes a pre formed viewing platform for the Brinno TLC200, 200 Pro and 300 cameras. Variations are also available for the majority of Afidus cameras. It is incredibly strong and easy to install and has an integral carrying handle to help fixing at height.
Features
Integral sunshield
Made from machined solid acetal, the integral sunshield offers both environmental protection as well as protection against accidental damage. The sunshield includes a threaded UV window which can easily be replace if broken.
Rugged case walls
With 8mm case wall thickness and anti damage side webbing the case can withstand all you throw at it and more.
Fitted tie bars
The fitted acetal tie bars allow the case to be easily installed without damaging the surrounding structures.
